Simple Ways to make Rap Beats

When some rappers discover they have no persistence or talent, they quit their rapping pursuits early. But having both persistence and talent will go a long way in helping them succeed. You only have to look at most of the rappers around today; they mostly originated from the ghettos but didn’t let this stand in their way of success. Having the right attitude when it comes to rap music will allow you to succeed in no time at all. If you have the will to succeed, on top of a smattering of consistency and persistence, you will go far in the rapping world.
Three main sounds have to be learnt beforehand creating hip hop instrumentals. The snare drum sound, the drum kick and the hi hat are these sounds. While the drum kick sound is a forceful one, adding vibrations to it can make it bolder. These are known as B sounds. TS sound is what hi hat comes from, and PSH is where snare sounds originate.
When practising it always makes sense to start off with these sounds in sequence or series. The combination of B, TS, PSH and TS is the best sequence. Practise these sounds on a continual basis until such a time that you are not confused with the series and until the rhythm is ingrained into your mind. And when you have become proficient at them you can try other combinations. Soon enough you will be able to make your own rap music. NB! Learning the rhythm though is the most important thing you have to do. And once this has been mastered, trying to compose a song will be simple. Mistakes will be made during your journey, but don’t get too hung up about them. If you practise enough, you will get where you want to go. I would like to add that if you want to make hip hop beats you should prepare for hard work.
